The South Flank Project is an expansion of BHP's existing Mining Area C hub, located approximately 130 km by road north-west of the town of Newman. An MMU (Mobile Manufacturing Unit) / MPU (Mobile Processing Unit) Operator will play a key role in an already high achieving Drill and Blast Team. This exciting role will be required to deliver blasting materials safely in accordance with mine production requirements. You will be exposed to all facets of blast operations, exercising your meticulous operating skills and adaptable work ethic to diversify your experience across blasting activities.This opportunity would suit someone that enjoys being outdoors with elements of labour intensive work. Some experience in operating MMU/MPU vehicles will be highly regarded along with prior knowledge of explosives, storage regulations and loading practices within mining or a related industry.It is essential to hold a valid HR Licence, and a Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC).
