About the role:
An exciting opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as the Manager Information Technology & Cyber Security!
The Manager Information Technology & Cyber Security is responsible for leading a team of course managers, teachers, business support employees and administrative staff along with developing high quality innovative course materials and ensuring excellent training delivery of VET Cyber Security and ICT programs.
Success in the position will result in a high performing and engaged team, improved student achievement and improved employment outcomes, compliance and quality education. This position will drive the development of opportunities to grow market share of Cyber Security & ICT programs in VET.
The Manager Information Technology & Cyber Security will lead the redesign of new programs across the Cyber Security & ICT portfolio with a key focus on the creation of vertical and horizontal pathways between VET and Higher Education across disciplines.
The position includes responsibility for the Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC) and evolution of our ICT programs to meet the future needs of industry.
This opportunity is ongoing based at our Elgar Road, Box Hill Campus.
About You:
- Current Box Hill Institute Employee
- Post graduate degree in relevant field such as Cyber Security or IT
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher
- Significant educational expertise plus acknowledged excellence in academic leadership and developing strategic directions
- Demonstrated experience, depth and breadth of expertise in Cyber Security and ICT including ongoing engagement with relevant industry bodies, memberships and panels
- Proven experience in leading and managing teaching programs with a strong understanding of competency based training and assessment
- Ability to identify and drive new and different approaches and solutions that will provide benefits beyond client expectations and challenges
