About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as our StudentWeb Support Specialist!
Within this role you will form part of the Teaching Development and Innovation team within the Academic Governance Division.
You will be providing quality training and coaching to develop skills and knowledge in the use and development of resources in StudentWeb and associated technologies. The overall objective is to improve the quality of teaching practice and use of technologies to create engaging and accessible learning and assessment experiences for students.
StudentWeb Support is responsible for assisting Box Hill Institute Educators with training and support to develop current best practice eLearning resources and teaching tools and to promote the use of blended eLearning. This role pertains to all teaching and learning technologies associated with StudentWeb and educator development and to ensure BHI retains its pre-eminent position as a quality provider and an Institute of choice, in an ever-competitive education and training marketplace. Its key areas of focus include blended and e-learning innovation; teaching innovation and change management; and accessible e-learning resource and content development.
About You:
- AQF Level 5 teaching qualification or higher, which includes supervised teaching practice in vocational education (or equivalent)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering teacher education and professional development programs focused on renewed learning, assessment, and delivery methodologies using a range of current and emerging blended learning technologies.
- Experience in accredited vocational education and training, with the ability to champion best practice and provide advice to support schools around quality, compliance, and audit.
- Experience with project management
- A proven high level of customer service focus and knowledge
