About the role:
An exciting, ongoing opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as the Records & Data Governance Analyst!
The Records & Data Governance Analyst supports the development, implementation and ongoing operation of a robust records management function. This includes supporting BHI employees to ensure information is appropriately and easily accessible, stored, distributed, and managed according to organisational and legislative requirements.
Working under broad direction as a key member of the Governance, Legal, Risk and Audit department, this role will work cross functionally in a collaborative manner with the whole organisation to ensure all BHI employees are supported to comply with the organisations records management requirements.
This role is based at our Elgar Road, Box Hill campus however is required to travel to other BHI campuses and locations. The salary is in line with PACCT 6 $77,949.00 per annum (exclusive of superannuation).
About You:
- Degree and/or postgraduate qualifications in records management and data governance or similar together with significant and relevant experience
- A current Victorian Drivers licence
- Experience in Records Management including experience uplifting organisational capability and building strategy
- High levels of initiative and proactive action
- Experience in end-to-end project management including scoping, implementation and transition to BAU
- Experienced in building strategic and sustainable relationships; demonstrated expertise in effectively engaging stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
- Knowledge on the applicable legislation related to records management
- High levels of analytical and conceptual thinking to problem solve strategic and operational issues
- Sound communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all mediums
- Demonstrated commitment to provide high quality customer service to BHI employees in regard to records management
