About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity to work at Box Hill Institute as our Senior Administrator. This is full-time, fixed-term (to end of October 2025) opportunity based at our Box Hill Campus. This position reports directly to the Manager Community and Early Childhood Education Programs), and sits within the Community Service Programs) area within the Faculty of Health, Community & Animal Studies.

What you'll do:

  • Lead a team of Administration Officers Box Hill to ensure a high level of customer service, accuracy and efficiency in the provision of student administration, enrolment and support services for the Faculty.
  • Ensure team's student enrolment, administration and customer service targets are achieved
  • Provide team supervision to achieve high team performance outcomes.
  • Ensure high quality and compliant student administration processes .
  • Support activities to enhance student experience across all faculty programs .
  • Responsible for working professionally with employees at all levels across the Box Hill Institute and liaising with relevant external stakeholders, including clients, students, industry representatives and suppliers.
  • Provide a high level of customer service including verbal and written communication.

  • Proven ability to supervise and develop a cohesive team with shared clarity around goals and accountabilities
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships internally and externally
  • Victorian Working with Children Check clearance
  • National Police Check clearance

Qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant industry qualification
  • Current and sound experience in the relevant field
  • High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing high quality, accurate correspondence and reports to stakeholders
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications for a range of tasks including but not limited to, generating letters, reports and database management
