About the role:

We have exciting opportunities to work at Box Hill Institute as one of our Refrigeration Teachers.

Within this role you will be creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all students whilst adapting teaching materials and delivery to maximise the opportunities for training and increase employability for our students!

You will be delivering innovative sessions to engage students and support their goals in becoming qualified in their chosen field! This is a fantastic opportunity to support the students who are keen to learn from passionate teachers!

What you'll do:

  • Provide high quality and innovative course materials and excellent teaching delivery to students
  • Support student success in their courses and thereby improve their employment and/or educational pathways
  • Ensure teaching practices meet industry/employer needs
  • Ensure BHI compliance requirements are met, and quality education is delivered to students

About you:

  • High level awareness of, and responsiveness to, people from a broad range of diverse backgrounds and emotional contexts
  • Victorian Working with Children Check clearance
  • National Police Check clearance

Qualifications and experience:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/22) - mandatory
  • Current and sound experience in the relevant field
  • Relevant industry qualifications at Certificate III Level or higher
  • Ability to design and deliver logical, succinct, up-to-date and engaging course materials and lessons
  • Ability to use learning management systems (i.e. Moodle) to create innovative and engaging learning experiences for students
