About the role
The Communications Advisor - Projects is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of communications plans, and activities required for internal and external stakeholder communications associated with the pipeline of infrastructure projects being delivered across the airport precinct.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Projects teams with the development of project communications messaging and materials ensuring clear, consistent professional communications that reflect BAC’s objectives and values.
- Collaborate with other business units to support the provision of key project communications messaging to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with agencies and consultants to co-ordinate development of project communication and marketing materials as required.
- Update and maintain project information for publishing to internal and external channels as needed, including website, intranet, newsletters etc. in partnership with the Communications & Public Affairs team.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including attendance and contribution at appropriate stakeholder and project meetings.
- Support the Communications Manager in the identification, development and delivery of promotional opportunities for identified projects including creation of key messaging, presentations etc.
Experience and qualifications
Essential
- Tertiary qualification Communications, Public Relations, or related field
- At least three years’ experience in a communications role or similar.
Preferred
- Knowledge and experience in digital communication channels and how to use these to effectively communicate to audiences.
- Experience working in infrastructure development, construction or aviation.
