Built isn’t waiting for the future. We’re building it.
This is an opportunity to shape how one of Australia's largest construction brands shows up in the market. If you thrive on creating content people want to engage with, love being behind the camera as much as developing strategy, and enjoy turning great stories into brand impact, you'll find plenty to get excited about at Built.
The Opportunity
As Social Media Manager, you'll own and evolve Built's social media presence across key platforms while exploring new opportunities across emerging channels and content formats. Working alongside our Brand and Marketing teams, you'll be the driving force behind how our projects, people and culture come to life on socials.
Success in this role will see you:
- Lead the execution of Built's social media strategy across all key channels.
- Increase the frequency, quality and effectiveness of content across the business.
- Partner with the Marketing team, project and business leaders to uncover stories that strengthen Built's brand and reputation.
- Drive audience growth, engagement and share of voice through creative, relevant and timely content, tracking performance with measurable data.
- Explore opportunities across emerging platforms, including podcasting, long-form video and other formats.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being in the action. One day you might be capturing content on a project site, the next presenting strategic recommendations, analysing performance data or coaching leaders on social engagement.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced social media professional who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to content creation.
You'll bring:
- Experience managing and growing social media channels within a corporate, agency or brand environment.
- A proven track record creating engaging content that drives audience growth, engagement and brand awareness.
- Strong content creation skills, including filming, photography and video editing using tools, and experience briefing external production professionals
- Exceptional storytelling, copywriting and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to turn ideas into compelling content.
- A proactive and agile approach, with the ability to spot opportunities, respond quickly and create content that is relevant right now.
