As the Digital Engineering Coordinator, you will assist the Digital Engineering Manager with overseeing the procurement, development and delivery of digital engineering designs and solutions across our portfolio of construction projects. You will be involved in the application of innovative design and construct processes, tools, and techniques to add value to our clients.
Here’s what a typical day might look like for you
- Assist, train and audit site teams with the coordination of site models
- Create visualisation including 3D/4D models using a variety of software packages including the Autodesk Suite and Unreal Engine. This is through the early bid stage to implementation on live sites.
- Collaborate with relevant business units, review, assess and deliver recommendations to project teams regarding project engineering design risks and opportunities
- Together with the Digital Engineering Manager, assist project teams manage and deliver the requirements of the projects Digital Construction Management Plan (DCMP) and client requirements.
- Conduct site visits and partner with project teams to ensure correct set up, assist with questions and oversee the process moving forward
- Assist with the development and implementation of Virtual and Augmented Reality solutions
Here are the essentials you’ll need for this role
- Exposure to a Digital Engineering environment, ideally within the construction/ building industry. Experience with the Autodesk suite is beneficial.
- The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to meet deadlines independently or within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, driven by outcomes, have a detailed approach with a creative flare and a positive can-do attitude!
- Experience using a 3D creation tool (Unreal Engine) within a gaming, animation or architecture space would be advantageous
