About the role

The Senior Data Architect will become a core and foundational part of the growing Application Developer and Data & Analytics team and will be responsible for the design, delivery and implementation of data architecture strategies onto cloud data platforms. The data architect works closely with different stakeholders and will provide strategic recommendations and solutions to maximize the value of data assets.

This role is an initial 24 month contract with a strong likelihood of it becoming an ongoing engagement.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Be the key go-to person for all elements of the Data & Analytics service at Cenitex.
  • Ensure solution architecture is comprehensively planned and designed to meet the defined stakeholder requirements
  • Provides input and guidance on key actions to approach target use cases with the Cenitex Data & Analytics platform.
  • Provide Data & Analytics thought leadership
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and relationships
  • Work with the PreSales team to help our customers get their desired outcomes, translating business to technology-based requirements.
  • Utilise advanced Data & Analytics knowledge and experience to help drive and provide input into new Cenitex service offerings
  • Contribute to and negotiate for effective data & analytics standards and practices

To be a success in this role you will have:

  • Extensive experience and knowledge experience in Data & Analytics
  • Superior stakeholder management skills with the ability share complex and challenging concepts effectively with diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the proven ability to consider issues from different perspectives and draw commercially sound recommendations.
  • Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience
