CEVA Logistics provides global supply chain solutions to connect people, products, and providers all around the world. Present in more than 170 countries and with over 110,000 employees across 1,500 sites, we are proud to be a Top 5 global 3PL.

Every day, our people imagine better ways to serve a world in motion – creating smarter, safer, and more sustainable solutions for our customers.

YOUR ROLE

As an Operations Supervisor within our Finished Vehicle Logistics team, you’ll support the day-to-day operation of our East Arm NT site, helping ensure safe, efficient and customer-focused delivery of finished vehicle logistics services.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll supervise a small team, coordinate daily operational and administrative activities, and play a key role in planning and allocating vehicle movements across local and interstate transport networks. This role suits a hands-on transport operations professional who enjoys solving problems, working with drivers and carriers, and keeping operations moving.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

  • Support daily site operations, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently and in line with policies, procedures and legislative requirements
  • Supervise, support and coordinate a small team across operational and administrative activities
  • Plan and allocate vehicle pickups and deliveries using contract carriers, independent carriers and local fleet resources
  • Prepare and manage manifests accurately and on time, including driver, fleet, timing and ETA information
  • Monitor transport costs and identify opportunities to improve utilisation, revenue or cost efficiency
  • Liaise with customers regarding pickups, deliveries, enquiries, complaints and vehicle issues
  • Coordinate order management activities, including order entry, amendments and related administration
  • Support KPI tracking, visual management boards, reporting, audits and site records
  • Maintain driver, carrier and compliance documentation, escalating performance or legislative concerns where required
  • Assist with site administration, procurement, onboarding, training coordination and HS&E activities.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate has strong transport operations experience, practical leadership capability and the confidence to coordinate daily priorities in a busy logistics environment.

  • Experience in transport operations, ideally within finished vehicle logistics or a similar fleet, carrier or yard-based environment
  • Experience supervising, coordinating or leading others in an operational setting
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Confidence working with drivers, carriers, customers and internal stakeholders
  • Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • An understanding of Chain of Responsibility, transport compliance and safe work practices.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.

WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?

In addition to a challenging and rewarding work environment and competitive compensation, we are proud to offer a range of employee benefits designed to support your wellbeing, and help you thrive at work and in life.

  • Personal wellbeing: prioritise your health and wellbeing through the CEVAwell program, Employee Assistance Program, Volunteer Time Off, and Life & Total Permanent Disability Insurance.
  • Work-life balance: benefit from flexible, hybrid, and remote work options, along with additional paid parental leave for primary carers.
  • Professional development: your growth is essential to us. Unlock your potential through secondment and internal mobility opportunities, study assistance, leadership and mentoring programs, MyLearning – our global online platform with more than 1,000 courses – early career pathways and more.
  • Financial wellbeing: We care about your financial security. Enjoy exclusive offers and discounts from our partners, novated leasing, annual safety workwear reimbursement, employee referral incentives, service recognition and short-term incentive plans.
