YOUR ROLE

CEVA Logistics is looking for a Compensation & Benefits Expert to lead the delivery, governance and continuous improvement of compensation, benefits, reward, grading and related frameworks across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources – Pacific, you’ll be the Pacific subject matter expert for remuneration, benefits and reward matters. You’ll provide advice, market insights, analysis and recommendations to HR, Finance, Payroll and business leaders to support fair, competitive, compliant and globally aligned reward outcomes.

This role is suited to someone who has worked successfully in a matrixed global organisation, where local, regional and global frameworks, stakeholders and approval pathways need to be balanced carefully.

Location: Flexible. Truganina VIC preferred, with strong candidates in Sydney or Brisbane also considered.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

  • Lead annual remuneration processes across Pacific, including merit review, incentive planning, bonus payments and out-of-cycle salary review activity.
  • Provide expert advice to HR, Finance, Payroll and business leaders on remuneration, benefits, grading, incentives and reward matters.
  • Own job evaluation and grading governance across Pacific, ensuring roles are assessed consistently and aligned to CEVA frameworks.
  • Develop remuneration recommendations using market data, salary surveys, internal relativities and business context.
  • Manage compensation reporting and analysis, including salary benchmarking, pay positioning, incentive outcomes and remuneration trends.
  • Manage employee benefits programmes across Pacific, including provider management, policy alignment, employee communications and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Payroll and Finance to ensure remuneration, incentives, allowances, benefits and related payments are accurate, timely and appropriately governed.
  • Advise on mobility, secondment and transfer arrangements, including remuneration, benefits, relocation and assignment-related considerations.
  • Maintain reward policies, frameworks and guidance materials, ensuring alignment with global reward policy, regional requirements and local country obligations.
  • Provide compensation and benefits input into HR projects, including restructures, acquisitions, organisational change, budgeting, audits and workforce planning.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate is a commercially minded reward, compensation and benefits specialist with demonstrated success in a complex, matrixed global organisation. You’ll also have:

  • Significant experience in compensation and benefits, reward, remuneration or a related specialist function.
  • Strong capability across salary benchmarking, job evaluation, grading, benefits, incentives and annual remuneration review processes.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to turn remuneration data into clear recommendations.
  • Confidence advising and influencing senior stakeholders, while balancing market competitiveness, internal equity, governance and affordability.
  • Experience working across local, regional and global frameworks, with exposure to Australia and/or New Zealand employment environments highly regarded.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.

WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?

In addition to a challenging and rewarding work environment and competitive compensation, we are proud to offer a range of employee benefits designed to support your wellbeing, and help you thrive at work and in life.

  • Personal wellbeing: prioritise your health and wellbeing through the CEVAwell program, Employee Assistance Program, Volunteer Time Off, and Life & Total Permanent Disability Insurance.
  • Work-life balance: benefit from flexible, hybrid, and remote work options, along with additional paid parental leave for primary carers.
