YOUR ROLE

Based at Erskine Park NSW (93 Lockwood Rd) and reporting to the General Manager - Key Account Management, this role is responsible for the performance, retention and growth of a portfolio of strategic customer accounts in NSW.

You’ll act as the primary relationship owner, working closely with operations and cross-functional teams to deliver strong commercial outcomes, ensure contractual compliance and drive long-term customer success. This role plays a key part in aligning customer expectations with operational delivery while identifying opportunities to grow revenue and improve profitability across the contract portfolio.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive retention, growth and long-term value
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong relationships across multiple levels
  • Own contract performance including service delivery, commercial outcomes and compliance obligations
  • Identify and deliver growth opportunities across existing accounts including new services and solutions
  • Lead retention planning and contract renewals, ensuring proactive engagement well ahead of expiry
  • Manage profitability including margin performance, rate reviews and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Coordinate RFQs, proposals and solution development with internal stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and customer outcomes
  • Partner closely with operations, finance and other internal teams to align delivery with customer expectations.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate is a commercially minded account manager with strong logistics experience and the ability to build trusted customer relationships.

  • Experience in logistics and supply chain with exposure to warehousing and transport operations
  • Proven background managing key accounts, contracts and customer relationships
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing profitability and contract performance
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives
  • Experience working cross-functionally to deliver customer and operational outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across all levels
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
