The role would suit a high performing Principal Consultant with broad experience in the Banking industry, who is ready for their next challenge, and to take the next step in their career.
As a Director, Consulting Expert (DCE) you have the opportunity to help build and grow our Financial Services practice. Based in Melbourne, you will work with our global product teams and Banking leaders to bring targeted CGI solutions and capabilities to Australia. Contribute to the development of local value propositions comprising of IP solutions, domain expertise, and service offerings. Deliver consulting engagements and provide domain leadership within the Banking and Financial Services domains to senior client stakeholders.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Be an authority on focused IP products in partnership with global product teams
- Support the development of local propositions and offering for the selected CGI solutions.
- Support new client prospecting and lead 2nd and 3rd level domain/technology focused workshops
- Deliver client consulting/advisory engagements on business case development and platform modernisation, integration, and implementation effort
- Support marketing effort to raise awareness of CGI’s solutions and services by developing thought leadership assets
- Research and select suitable external partners across the banking landscape
- Keep up to date with industry trends, regulatory reforms and technology modernisation within the sector.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Domain expertise within Transaction, Corporate, and Business banking with broad experience in multiple banking domain areas, such as: Payments, Fraud/ AML/ KYC, Trade Finance, Credit management, or Core Banking
- Background and training in technology leadership, with experience in platform replacement or modernization, advisory, technology roadmaps, and architectural choices, integration options, and vendor products
- Broad understanding of technology trends, products, solutions, and 3rd party vendors within the Financial Services sector
- Ability to liaise confidently and pragmatically with banking domain experts and business-line leadership
