What You'll Do
You will be responsible for the success of Cisco's Webex Customer Experience practice by implementinggo-to-market and sales strategies to capture aggressive growth in the Contact Centre and Communications Platform-as-a-Service (CPaaS) market. Extraordinary leadership, coaching and mentoring skills are required.
As a CX expert you will be expected to have significant CX domain skills and experience with a proven record of leading a strategic sales teams, solutions sales and or a consultative practice.
You will be expected to drive demand in market, both internally and cross-functionally within Cisco, and externally with customers, partners and industry. You will lead a direct reporting team of Product Sales Specialists along with an in-direct team of Technical Solution Architects ,and work closely with the wider Cisco Collaboration leadership and sales teams.
Evangilization of the Webex CX portfolio and sales management are at the core of the role.
Ultimately this role will be measured on revenue growth and market share. In order to achieve this you will:
- Be responsible for a sales target for the ANZ business
- Develop and execute sales strategy and tactics that improve Cisco new sales opportunities within existing and new clients.
- Lead a geographically dispersed team, with up to 4 direct reports whch may grow in time.
- Lead, develop and inspire direct and in-direct salespeople and be accountable to creating and maintaining a high performance sales team taking a hands on approach
- Develop and help salespeople in becoming sales experts in the market/competitive landscape, in CCaaS and CPaaS solutions, and in strategies for identifying and leveraging key differentiators to win with clients.
- Manage commercial sales motion, sales program and demand generation activity that achieves and exceeds expectations.
- Lead a strong sales team to achieve and exceed sales quota and provide mentoring and coaching to the team on a regular basis.
- Accurate weekly forecasting ensuring salespeople maintain accurate and up to date sales pipeline information.
- Help partners accelerate business across multiple types of customers.
- Make and lead presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.
- Will make important resource decisions that apply to both corporate and account team resources to new opportunities.
- Lead various customer and industry activities such as round tables, keynote speeches and conferences. The expectation is that you will become the face of the ANZ Webex Customer Experience business both internally and externally.
- As a member of the APJC Webex Customer Experience SLT, you will develop content and represent the ANZ business in weekly forecasts, quarterly QBRs and strategic planning sessions.
- Extensive travel may be required across ANZ and occasionally international.

You have core experiences in the following areas:
- Technology Leadership: Communicate a clear technology vision and strategy with a compelling value proposition specifically as it relates to Contact Centre and Experience Management
- Extensive sales / consulting leadership experience managing solution and application sales
- Deep understanding of CCaaS and CPaaS based technologies and architectures including adjacent technologies including Workforce and Quality Management and AI.
- A relentless drive to succeed and inspire a team of Product Sales Specialists (PSS) to win market share in a hyper competitive environment
- The ability to operationalize a new go to market strategy for the PSS team
- A proven track record on collaborating across the generalist teams
- You know how to accurately forecast sales activity and understand trends, close ratios and linearity.
- You exhibit strong critical thinking, innovation, and leadership skills.
