About the Opportunity

The Project Manager (Outages) plays a key role in delivering major outages across CleanCo’s Asset Operations portfolio. This permanent position is primarily based at Swanbank, with regular site time at Wivenhoe and occasional travel to Brisbane and northern sites.

You will scope, plan, manage and deliver outage projects in line with CleanCo’s delivery frameworks. Working closely with site operations, engineering, procurement and the EPMO, you’ll ensure outages are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on work in operational environments and is comfortable navigating change as CleanCo strengthens its processes and frameworks.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Leading the development of outage scopes, schedules, risk plans, procurement requirements and deliverables

  • Managing multi-staged outage projects, resources, budgets and reporting requirements

  • Coordinating contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders

  • Identifying and mitigating risks, issues and dependencies

  • Supporting improved documentation and consistent application of outage delivery
processes
  • Working onsite during outage execution periods

About you

You are someone who thrives in operational, maintenance or power generation environments and brings strong experience in outage delivery, project management or operations and maintenance. You are detail-oriented, practical, and able to prioritise in dynamic site conditions.

You communicate clearly in writing, verbally or visually using your preferred formats, and you collaborate effectively with engineering, site teams and contractors.

You will bring:

  • Outage, project management or operations/maintenance experience (energy, resources or similar)
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex and multi-staged projects
  • Field-based experience in operational or maintenance environments (power station experience is highly regarded)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and contractor management skills
  • Practical understanding of budgets, cost control, forecasting and contract administration
  • Experience using project management tools (MS Project, SAP, Microsoft Office)
  • Relevant engineering, project management or trade qualifications
