Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project!

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

Clough currently has an opportunity for a Timekeeper to join our Team on site. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately tracking and recording working hours, attendance, and schedules of employees. This role ensures compliance with labor regulations, payroll accuracy, and efficient workforce management. The Timekeeper works closely with HR, management, payroll and employees to maintain precise records and resolve any discrepancies related to timekeeping.

Your focus will include:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and payroll regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee work hours, overtime, and absences.
  • Process and verify timecards, attendance sheets, and electronic timekeeping systems.
  • Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing.
  • Provide reports on workforce attendance, productivity trends, and scheduling insights.
  • Assist in scheduling shifts, tracking leaves, and managing time-off requests.
  • Support employees with inquiries related to timekeeping, payroll calculations, and work schedules.
  • Implement improvements in timekeeping procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


What you will bring to the team:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Familiarity with timekeeping software and payroll systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee data with confidentiality.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple schedules effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or relevant HR/timekeeping tools.
