SecureEnergy, a Clough Elecnor Joint Venture, has been selected to deliver the engineering, procurement, and construction of Project EnergyConnect. EnergyConnect is a new 700 km 330 kV transmission line running from Wagga Wagga in NSW to Robertstown in SA.
The project scope also includes the construction of supporting infrastructure, such as substations and access roads along the route of the transmission line. When built, EnergyConnect will enable future renewable energy projects to connect to the electricity grid.
The Role:
Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the day to day operation of your yard to ensure that your yard is efficient, safe and effective. The role will be working on a21/7 roster.Other duties also include but not limited to:
Safely co-ordinate day to day logistics, yard, laydown and customer relationships
Manage and supervise yard team members
Working closely with OHTL supervisors and Substation supervisors to ensure plant, equipment and received materials are available to suit programmed works and meet necessary specifications
Working with Material Controls team to ensure accurate stock control
Ensure daily prestarts and post operational checks are conducted
Monitor controls for material stacking, storage, loading and unloading to promote safety and efficiency in the yard
Ensure high standards in WHS are promoted and enforced
What you will bring
5+ years of construction experience
10+ years of logistics experience
Understanding of safety processes and laydown experience
Current driver's license and white card is essential
Current LF Forklift license, Rigging, Dogging and Telehander licenses
Proof of right to work in Australia
Undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
Desirable: Qualifications in Logistics/Warehousing
