Clough is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the Waitsia Gas Project Stage 2 development, near Dongara, Western Australia. We are currently searching for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join the site project team on a 14/7 roster.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager – Western Region, you will have exposure to the full scope of the HR function while you partner with key stakeholders to drive the delivery of the project HR Strategy.

As a true Senior Business Partner, you will have a genuine and enthusiastic approach in collaborating with the immediate and broader HR team to achieve deadlines and deliver on outcomes.

Who we are looking for:

  • Proven ability to apply knowledge of employment legislation, awards and agreements, policies, and best practice.

  • Significant experience leading complex workplace investigations & industrial relations expertise.

  • Providing general coaching and advice to employees and leaders on ER/IR matters as required.

  • Confidence to speak with authority to technical experts and provide sound fact-based leadership on Human Resources and related issues.

  • An understanding of the BIBO lifestyle and conditions as well as ability to work autonomously in a remote area.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Knowledge of Industrial Relations including award and collective agreement interpretation, codes and wage compliance.

  • Ability to provide thoughtful, progressive and strategic guidance.

  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems.

  • Prior experience in a similar role.

  • Absolute commitment and leadership in providing a safe working environment.

  • Passion for HR, driving cultural change, learning and building your HR career, building strong working relationships and providing agile support.

  • Technical and conceptual excellence in anticipating problems and guiding the team to deliver on departmental goals.

  • Leadership with the highest professional and ethical standards ensuring all actions are transparent and in accordance with Company policy.

  • Participation in site business planning

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, or related fields would be beneficial.
