Clough is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the Waitsia Gas Project Stage 2 development, near Dongara, Western Australia. We are currently searching for a Senior HSSE Advisor to join our team on the Waitsia project. Reporting to the HSSE Manager, the Senior HSSE Advisor will be responsible for providing onsite support, knowledge and active mentoring to the team in all of Health, Safety, Security and Environment matters across the project.

This role will be bus-in/bus-out from Perth or DIDO from the Dongara/Geraldton region on a 14/7 roster.

Your focus will include:

• Delivering a project in accordance with the Project’s Target Zero objectives of zero harm to people, community and environment

• Advocating compliance with the project HSSE Management System and drive site wide implementation of all activities relating to the Project Target Zero objectives.

• Supporting HSSE Manager in the development, implementation, monitoring and revision of the HSSE Management Systems.

• Maintaining site safety data and statistics.

• Coordinating and conducting workplace audits, inspections and risk assessments

• Coach and mentor other HSSE Advisors and Administrators.

What you will bring to the team:

• Previous experience in a similar position with large scale project / construction / mining environments.

• Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety.

• Strong influencing skills and the ability to develop relationships.

• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work, balancing resources, skills, priorities and timescales to achieve objectives.

• Industry White Card.

• Intermediate proficiency with the MS suite of software and prior experience utilising HSSE reporting systems such as INX (InControl and Intuition).
