Clough, as part of an alliance, is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities, a significant sustainable infrastructure project for the Perth community, reducing waste and emissions.
We are currently searching for an Electrical Superintendent to join the Woodman Point Project team in Perth. As the Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for providing on site leadership and direction for the team delivering the electrical and Instrumentation works with a focus on scope, schedule, quality and budget whilst maintaining a high safety culture.
The role will be initially based in the Perth Head Office and will transition to site (Perth southern suburbs) in 2024 as construction activities commence.

Your focus will include:
Ensure safe execution of Planned activities daily.
Lead Field Leadership program ensuring Alliance and sub-contract personnel meet required KPIs.
Attend pre-start and debrief meetings daily with each of their crews and/or sub-contractors.
Inspect site conditions daily and ensure controls are in place for all hazards found.
Review risk assessments daily and implement changes where required.
Manage Alliance E&I field Supervisors.
Review daily timesheets, diaries, delays, site instructions, photos and punch list items in Envision via both the mobile device and web application.
Conduct daily schedule reviews and ensure field activities are being undertaken to meet project schedule requirements. Planning for any mitigation to recover any slippage on schedule.
Interface regularly with Alliance SMP and Civil Supervision ensuring effective productive progress.
Work closely with Alliance Site Engineering team ensuring technical issues are processed and closed out in a timely manner.
Conduct daily progress meetings with Alliance E&I supervision and complete daily reporting for all activities undertaken in your area of responsibility.
Work closely with Alliance Construction Manager ensuring interface issues are managed on a daily basis.
Interface with Alliance quality personnel ensuring QMP is being adhered to and facilitate resolutions to quality issues.
What you will bring to the team:
Minimum 5 years’ experience performing in a Superintendent role in the Construction Industry.
Excellent communication, people management and leadership skills.
Able to delegate and take responsibility to ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently and maximises project and individuals' effectiveness.
Experience working under Permit to Work Systems and adhering to Permit to Work conditions.
Sound knowledge and understanding of the Australian Standard AS3000 Australian Wiring Rules
Able to read and interpret Electrical schematics and P&ID’s/Scope of Works/ relevant technical specifications.
Awareness to be able to identify commercial opportunity and risk and minimise the risk and maximise the opportunity.
Competent performing and implementing risk assessment review /approval.

Electrical Trade Qualification
Current Australian “C” Class Driver’s Licence
UETTDRRF06B - Perform rescue from a live LV panel
HLTAID001 Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
