Clough, as part of the Integrate Alliance, is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities, a significant sustainable infrastructure project for the Perth community, reducing waste and emissions.

We are currently searching for an experienced Contracts Advisor to join the Woodman Point Project team. Reporting to the Project Services Manager, you will be responsible for pre-award and post-award subcontract administration includes preparation, execution and management of subcontracts across the project, in accordance with Clough and Alliance operating standards.

The role will be initially based in the Perth Head Office and will transition to site (Perth southern suburbs) in 2024 as construction activities commence.

Your focus will include:

  • Preparation of contracts and related documentation, including contracts with subcontracts, equipment hire agreements, charter parties.

  • Administration of assigned subcontracts and ensuring compliance with Clough Corporate Standards.

  • Liaising with Construction Supervisors, Package Engineers to process variation claims of assigned subcontracts, under the terms of the contract.

  • Preparing claims with support from Commercial Manager.

  • Execution of the Project subcontracting strategy for assigned subcontracts.

  • Ensuring the timely and correct payment and processing of variations of assigned subcontracts.

  • Participating in progress meetings to ensure contractual matters are addressed for assigned subcontracts.


What you will bring to the team:

  • Previous experience in a similar Contract Advisor or Contract Administrator position within the engineering, resources or construction industry.

  • Contract administration processing skills including change orders, payment, scheduling, ITT’s, bid list formation and close out of subcontracts.

  • Proven ability to administer and prepare correspondence, position papers on contractual/commercial matters (Analytical and drafting skills are vital).

  • Highly organised and energetic team member with excellent communication skills.

  • Ability work with multiple stakeholders and applying time management and prioritisation skills to deliver the desired outcomes.
