We are now seeking a COMPLETIONS LEAD for the Waitsia Gas Project responsible for the overall coordination and management at site of the Services and Logistics support functions for the Completions Group and for the management of the Completions Contractors technical and contract responsibilities in supporting the Completions Group activities.
THE PROJECT
The Waitsia Gas Project is ranked one of the largest gas fields ever discovered onshore in Australia and Stage 2 involves further development of the gas field with new wells and a new production facility. Clough is currently undertaking the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) scope of the development, near Dongara, Western Australia.
THE JOB FOCUS
Analysing the optimum early gas possibilities and setting targets accordingly
Planning the commissioning work and ensuring it’s performed within the appropriate safety criteria
Setting up a site team to comply and complete commissioning procedures and other essential support deliverables
Ensure the technical, safety and commissioning criteria for early gas simultaneous activities
Identify in a time manner technical support (including pipeline commissioning)
Ensure the completion concept co-mingles throughout the organisation from design through to operations
Technically responsible for weekly/monthly project reports and morning meetings
Responsible for system and facility handover to the customer
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
Tertiary qualifications with over 10yrs+ experience in O&G projects including project engineering and coordination of planning, cost, logistics and procurement support for major projects.
Experience at a senior level in major onshore gas projects is required
CCMS experience in addition to change control, software control, completion contract & cost compliance, strategy documents and compliance
Experience in control and management of an integrated completion team
Construction White/Blue Card
Current C Class Drivers Licence
Strong people management and leadership experience
Able to remain calm under pressure and to lead by example
Excellent communication skills to liaise at all levels and while interfacing with stakeholders
