Clough is currently searching for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join the Legal team in Brisbane or Sydney. As part of Clough’s legal team and reporting directly to the Group General Counsel, you will enjoy working across a broad range of areas supporting our Australian and PNG operations. Our Legal Counsels provide internal clients with sound pragmatic business solutions to the legal issues they raise and are supported by easy access to Senior Management.

Your focus will include:

• Providing tendering support, project support, project close-out, and corporate and general business line support.

• Providing practical legal advice and counsel to all parts of the Clough/Webuild Group.

• Maintaining key relationships to ensure engagement of legal function in all parts of the Clough/Webuild business.

• Engagement and management of external counsel.

• Ensuring compliance with legal and corporate compliance obligations.

• Accurate, timely and commercially relevant legal advice.

• Ensuring compliance with Clough/Webuild management systems, policies, procedures and processes.

What you will bring to the team:

• 8+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally within construction law.

• Bachelor of Law with admittance to practice in an Australian jurisdiction.

• Previous experience working in-house within the Mining, Infrastructure or Resources industries.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Strong eye for detail.
