We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Inhouse engineering team! In this role you will effectively provide electrical engineering support and expertise to current projects for Clough. This will be a permanent full-time position based in our Perth office.

Your focus will include:
Prepare design basis documentation
Review design documentation, specifications and materials/equipment purchased
Reviewing and approving the work from other engineers
Liaising with other disciplines and hold regular meetings
Formulate budget estimates for engineering scopes
Liaising with the Client and their engineering personnel
Liaising with Vendors
Liaising with other project functions, i.e. Procurement, Document Control and Planning
Liaise with site including construction, commissioning engineers
Responsible for the application of Australian and International Codes to electrical design
You will have knowledge in the following areas:
HV Distribution design for power generation and power distribution systems on facilities
LV Distribution systems – including Switchgear, Distribution boards, UPS supplies (AC & DC)
Transformer sizing, selection and specification for power distribution systems
LV & HV electrical motors and Electrical drives
Packaged equipment and their interfaces
Earthing and lightning protection design
Lighting design
Classification of hazardous areas and design/selection of equipment for hazardous area use
What you will bring to the team:
Your ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team will ensure your success in this role
Applicants are required to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Hazardous area knowledge and competency is preferred
Member of relevant Engineering Institution(s)
