Clough has an exciting opportunity for an Expatriate Concrete Foreman to join the Lombrum Project Team in Papua New Guinea! In this role, you will effectively be responsible for monitoring quality, safety, and provide planning and direction directly to the assigned crew of craftsmen for construction activities.
Clough is delivering the construction of the Lombrum Infrastructure Project; a joint initiative of the Australian and Papua New Guinean governments to redevelop the Lombrum Naval Base on Manus Island, Papua New Guinea.

Your focus will include:
Oversee the project progress and ensuring that it is executed in compliance to project requirements and procedures
Perform inspection of concrete works and provide instruction to team members to assist with correction of defects
Facilitate Pre-Start, Toolbox and JSA meetings and coordinate daily scheduled tasks with team
Review and liaise with Superintendent regarding allocation of materials and required resources to enable completion of work requirements and milestones
Provide leadership, construction knowledge and advice onsite to direct crew members forward with a positive approach
What you will bring to the team:
4+ years minimum experience in similar role in the civil or construction industry
8+ years construction experience within infrastructure and resources projects
Strong supervision experience including the ability to lead and manage change is desirable
Proven track record of developing teams in challenging environments i.e. developing countries.
