Clough has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join the Finance Team in Perth to support the business with the management reporting! The role offers a broad range of exposure including budgeting, forecasting and management reporting and will directly engage with management.

Your focus will include:

  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements for the business unit.

  • Reconcile accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany accounts.

  • Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital.

  • Collaborate with project managers to track project milestones and billings.

  • Review and process invoices promptly to facilitate timely revenue recognition.

  • Prepare a comprehensive month-end management pack for senior management.

  • Compile financial reports, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights into divisional performance.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in commerce or accounting

  • CA/CPA qualified.

  • A working knowledge of Accounting Standards

  • Previous Oracle, or similar ERP, experience is desirable.

  • Experience with data-handling and manipulation

  • (Microsoft Office) strong Excel skills

  • Ability to see ‘big picture’ of organisation

  • Ability to embrace and foster innovation and creativity!
