Clough has an opportunity for a Senior Quality Control Inspector to join the Waitsia Project Team in Dongara!

The Waitsia Gas Project is ranked one of the largest gas fields ever discovered onshore in Australia and Stage 2 involves further development of the gas field with new wells and a new production facility. Clough is currently undertaking the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) scope of the development, near Dongara, Western Australia.

Your focus will include:

  • Verification of Documentation in accordance with Inspection and Testing Plans.

  • Reviewing, providing input and developing ITP’s and compiling inspection reports.

  • Compilation, review and approval of MDRs / MRB's.

  • Reporting on quality performance, highlighting issues and concerns.

  • Liaison with key stakeholders including Suppliers, Engineers, Site Supervisors to promote required quality criteria.

  • Identifying, documenting and following up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s).

  • Developing and implementing inspection planning and scheduling activities, monitoring and reporting of inspection progress.

  • Review and confirm compliance of quality verification records.

  • Coordination and participation of system walkdowns, facilitating the development and closeout of punch-list items and overseeing the completion of ITRs, ensuring compliance with specified requirements.

  • Facilitating the upload of data and records into the Completions and Commissioning Management System (CCMS) and interrogating CCMS data to ensure systems are fully compliant prior to handover.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction, mining or oil & gas field.

  • E&I / EEHA Inspectors require an Electrical trade certificate and AS4761.1 Hazardous Area Certified Inspector qualification.

  • Relevant trade certificate e.g. Mechanical Fitter, Welder

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Detailed knowledge of Quality practices and procedures and current legislative requirements

  • Previous experience in installation of skid mounted vessels and equipment, Rotating Equipment and Flange Management
