We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Coordinator to join the team in Perth! In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Compliance Director to ensure all operations align with Australian regulations and Group requirements. This position is a 12 month maternity cover and has the opportunity to be based in either our Perth or Brisbane offices.

Your focus will include:
- Assist in monitoring and enforcing compliance with industry-specific regulations as well as Group guidelines, including business ethics, anti-bribery laws, whistleblowing, privacy, anti-trust and local government requirements.
- Help develop, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Conduct Due Diligence on third parties. Conduct routine compliance audits and assist in investigation whistleblowing reports. Document findings and assist in implementing corrective actions
- Work closely with project managers and site supervisors to incorporate compliance requirements into all phases of construction projects
- Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, inspection results, and risk assessments. Assist in preparing compliance reports for internal stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies
- Assist in identifying compliance risks associated with company operations and support the development of mitigation strategies to prevent violations or project delays
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance or Audit or a related field
- Two to three years' work experience in compliance departments of construction or manufacturing companies, or in compliance or audit consultancies
