We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join the New Women and Babies Hospital Team in Perth! In this role, your hands-on approach will see you managing all aspects of financial management and compliance.

WeBuild is delivering the design and construction of the Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. This landmark project will replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and expand services and choice for women, newborns and families, delivering lasting benefits and a positive legacy for the people of Western Australia.

Your focus will include:
- Deliver accurate project financial reporting
- Provide variance analysis and identify root cause of deviations
- Manage project cash flow
- Drive month end process incl. accruals, review Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Business partnering with the project team to resolve issues and ensure the successful delivery of the project.
- Ensure that all accounting processes comply with IFRS and company procedures.
- Ability to manage data governance, manipulation, and reporting within a project environment.
- Mentor other staff in the team
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce or accounting
- CPA or CA qualification
- Previous Audit background desirable
- Construction or project-based industries – multi storey project exposure highly regarded
- Previous SAP and Advanced Excel essential, Power BI desirable
- An Ability to see ‘big picture’ and identify and mitigate any risk factors
- Exceptional attention to detail, ability to work in a fast past environment with a customer centric approach to problem solving
