We have a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a P&C Advisor/Coach to support our Laverton and Launceston DC’s in the delivery of our people plan.
In Supply Chain no two days are ever the same, and our key stakeholders are engaged and ready to make a step change in how we operate. You will form part of the broader Coles People & Culture team and build relationships across the P&C function.
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, this role is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-pace, operational environment where you can build on your P&C partnering skills while making a real impact.
About the role
Key to this role will be your ability to coach and upskill our front-line leaders to drive high-performance and engagement across their teams.
The P&C Advisor will;
- Provide accurate and timely P&C support and advice to line managers across the team member lifecycle including performance management, learning and development, recognition and engagement, whilst ensuring leaders leverage P&C Central per the model
- Support line managers on the implementation of cyclical activities, including performance (Talent/Succession/A&D) and engagement initiatives.
- Support line managers to develop sound career development and growth plan practices with their teams
- Support in the delivery of site specific and company-wide engagement activities
- Ensure P&C transactional/administrative activities are managed and compliant within legislative requirements and Coles policies and practices
About you and your skills
- Working knowledge of the Australian human resources framework and best practice
- Hands on experience in coaching and advising Frontline Leaders
- Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong analytical, judgement and problem-solving skills to support resolution of HR issues
- Proven interpersonal and organisational skills, with an ability to get things done effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to multitask and to work under pressure to deadlines
- Experience with complex HR issues including; misconduct, inherent requirements and non-work related injury management.
- Experience with Enterprise Agreement interpretation and application in a blue-collar environment would be highly regarded
- Passion for driving diversity & inclusion in the workplace
