With over 2500 retail locations around the country, our property team looks after one of the most dynamic portfolios in Australia. Working with teams across the business, we provide a range of services from site acquisition, leasing and renewals, through to development, construction, and asset management. About the role
As our new Retail Leasing Manager, you will partner with senior management in this full-time permanent role.
As part of an exciting online project, you will work alongside the wider state-based teams. You will play a key part in the Online Property Team and help lead and support the delivery of the business’ online strategy and objectives.
Other ways you can have an impact will see you:
- Liaise and negotiate with landlords to secure favourable Ecommerce outcomes
- Negotiation of leases and financial feasibility analysis
- Lead a team of consultants to develop and secure planning approvals for Online upgrades
- Assist in the development of the property strategy for the existing network and entering new markets
- Be the point of contact for specific online property matters for the Coles Retail Group
About you and your skills
This will be a fast-paced position with the opportunity for genuine growth and impact in the work you do.
- Proven experience in retail leasing; management of the process from negotiation to execution either on the landlord or retail side
- Previous commercial property experience with in-depth knowledge of the retail property market
- Sound financial knowledge of deal structures with the ability to negotiate and interpret complex contracts and agreements
- Developed communication, influencing and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trusted relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously and be accountable for your activity- reporting and targets
