About the role
This role provides financial support to fours Chiefs and 19 GMs and their teams across our corporate office. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to deliver accurate, timely reporting to these stakeholders. We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Business Analyst in our Corporate Functions area to do the following:
Become a key part of the Finance team, by providing a key relationship link between Finance and the business.

Provide fact-based insight and commentary for monthly performance of business units for Corporate Cost of Doing Business (CODB).

Interrogate and analyse the cost centre numbers each month across the Corporate functions and analyse variances.

Assist in preparation of annual corporate plan, annual budgets, forecasting, & reporting across multiple cost centre units, in particular providing accurate information delivered on time.

Provide SSC Admin Remuneration reporting, including providing accurate information delivered on time and fact-based insight and commentary

Assist with the financial review of business cases across the Corporate functions.

Work as a team player supporting Finance teams as required.

Drive continuous improvements across processes to enhance efficiencies in ways of working.
Good things you will need

Ideally CA/CPA or working towards their qualification

Ability to deliver accurate reporting to senior stakeholders

Experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g. Microsoft Office applications, TM1, SAP

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong stakeholder management, communication & presentation

skills (verbal and written), ability to present complex data & concepts to enable decision making

Strong time management and planning skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment

Commercial awareness and business focus

Strong and efficient Excel and TM1 skills

Strong report presentation skills – PowerPoint and Thinkcell
