About the team
Property looks after one of Australia's most dynamic portfolios. Coles Group has over 2,500 retail locations around Australia—and we're growing every day. Our team manages every one of these locations. And we work side-by-side with our business units on all things in the property lifecycle, from site acquisition through to asset management.
A new opportunity as Development Manager has arisen within our passionate and cohesive team. This role will provide the opportunity to engage with senior leaders and grow your career at Coles.
About the role
Reporting to the National Development Manager, you'll be empowered to deliver retail, industrial and commercial projects with a focus on rolling out a significant pipeline of new Coles stores.
You'll also
- Provide strategic direction and manage development of projects
- Partner with varied stakeholders including builders & external developers
- Ensure concurrent submission of proposals and business support
- Monitor performance of projects to ensure time cost and quality are managed.
About you and your skills
We’re looking for a proactive and ambitious professional with 3+ years of retail / commercial / industrial development management experience.
You'll also have
- Strategic and lateral thinking skills to solve problems and drive solutions
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management software
- Sound financial acumen and cost plan management skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communications skills
- Strong organisational and planning ability
