About the role
As our next Supply Chain Manager, you will support the Head of Commercial Excellence to operate the Express Supply Chain team as it exits from Coles Group and moves under Viva Energy.
You will oversee and actively manage supply of products to Viva Express sites, including buying relationships with Coles Wholesale Services (CWS) and direct to store suppliers managed by the Viva Express team.
You'll also:
- Ensure product forecasts, daily orders and relevant reports are timely and accurate
- Ensure that in situations where supply shortage is likely, requirements are prioritised and communications to all affected parties is timely and accurate
- Proactively work with suppliers & CWS to ensure contractual service level agreements are measured, reported and achieved
- Provide timely and relevant information and reporting to key stakeholders including stores, Express Operations and Commercial teams and CWS
- Work with suppliers and CWS to drive end to end cost efficiencies and projects to support in delivering initiatives in line with business strategies
- Manage and coach the Supply Chain team of 3-4 Supply and Demand Planners
About you and your skills
In this senior role you will bring your developed leadership and stakeholder management skills as well as strong retail and supply chain and operations experience and knowledge.
You’ll also have:
- Proven people leadership experience in Supply Chain ideally within a Retail or FMCG environment
- Demonstrated Supply Chain and Logistics commercial acumen and understanding of cost drivers
- Convenience supply chain experience will be highly valued
- Analytical and detail oriented, strong communicator with experience in commercial negotiations and contract management
