Are you looking to further your career within one of the largest technology teams in Australia? We are looking for an experienced hardware co-ordinatorto join our store support team and take part in our new and exciting programs.
About the role
Our store service coordination team delivers world-class solutions and services through market-leading solutions. Within this role you will understand the operational requirements of IT hardware to ensure business requirements are being met, provide a responsive service to all Coles Division stores to co-ordinate ad-hoc requests, manage escalations and ensure that IT hardware is maintained in good working order at all times, manage the vendor(s) who support the IT hardware deployed in all Coles Division stores and manage the lifecycle of store IT hardware.
What you’ll be doing:
As part of the store service co-ordination team, you will lead the installation, testing and upgrade of store hardware on a regular basis along with equipment testing, vendor management, hardware scheduling and regular maintenance.
You’ll also:
- Co-ordinate ad-hoc vendor time and materials work performed in stores
- Manage, process and validate vendor invoices for time and materials and maintenance work
- Manage vendor performance to the agreed contracted SLA
- Liaise with key IT vendors and internal Operations stakeholders to build productive working relationships to encourage service improvements
- Analyse problem trends to identify candidates for hardware lifecycle replacement, remedial maintenance or nonperforming hardware
- Co-ordinate transfers of equipment between stores and vendors and ensure any assets procedures are maintained
- Liaise with asset management team to ensure effective deployment of all store assets and record asset movements
- Co-ordinate, assess and analyse opportunities for preventative maintenance works in stores
- Service improvement through operational understanding and use of IT hardware in all Coles Division
- Manage service escalations to deliver most effective store outcome within contract SLA conditions
Good things you’ll need:
As the store support hardware co-ordinator you will have proven experience in co-ordinating vendor works in stores in a large scale, complex and distributed business environment, Understanding of stores use of infrastructure components, experience in prioritising multiple high priority tasks and time management
You’ll also need:
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
- Problem management and root cause analysis
- Proficient in use of MS Office (in particular excel)
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal with excellent active listening skills.
- Must have proven ability to work effectively at all levels of the organisation
