Your Team

The Enterprise Delivery and Architecture team, part of the Transformation, Technology, and Operations business unit, is responsible for end-to-end project delivery at CFS. Collaborating closely with the Enterprise Portfolio Office and other teams, this group ensures the capabilities needed to drive meaningful change for customers and employees are effectively brought together. Operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment, the team prioritises agility, strategic alignment, and enterprise-wide impact in delivering organisational priorities.

This role, the Enterprise Portfolio Office Lead, reports to the Director of COO Strategy and Planning.

As the Enterprise Portfolio Office Lead, your role involves defining, implementing, and maintaining the Delivery Framework to support projects and portfolios in achieving their goals. By fostering collaboration, standardisation, and continuous improvement, you ensure successful project outcomes while maintaining compliance with business planning and reporting standards. You also provide critical data insights to enhance decision-making and streamline project delivery for the organisation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to the enterprise delivery framework and standards across all portfolio projects.
  • Provide strategic support for the Enterprise Portfolio Steering Committee, organising meetings, preparing agendas and documenting minutes.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns related to portfolio governance and assurance.
  • Collaborate with the PMO team, project managers and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure internal policies and procedures in relation to Benefits and Expenditure for Expected Projects are met.
  • Ensure all Decision Registers and approval records are maintained and kept up to date with accurate information.

Your Capability and Experience

  • Experience in Enterprise PMO supporting changes across complex business and technology programs.
  • Interpersonal skills and effective stakeholder management with proven ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience in or sound understanding of Lean Portfolio Management principles and practices.
  • Exposure with different Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies, and software development life cycle.
  • Risk Mindset –proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.
  • Experience within the Australian financial services industry is desirable
