The Global Markets Chief Operating Office is responsible for the execution of a range of operational, strategic and business transformation initiatives. Working closely with Group and IB&M stakeholders, the team focuses on enabling across the Markets business. This includes risk and controls management, business change, prioritization and delivery of initiatives, and ongoing business improvement.

This newly created and highly visible Director role will partner with stakeholders across Global Markets and be accountable for the execution of e-strategy, delivery and implementation of eFX products, processes and projects based on the needs of the Global Markets clients and business.
Further responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- The growth of electronic FX Sales and client wallet optimisation across Institutional and Corporate segment
- Collaboration with sales and trading to promote CBA's e-capabilities, define the value proposition and proactively manage client relationships
- Analyse e-channel level information to help understand and improve e-penetration in consultation with sales and trading desks
- Work with support and development teams in technology to drive continuous improvement based on customer and internal demand
- Develop sales training programs specific to eFX solutions
- Work with GM COO, Line 1 & Line 2 Risk teams and Compliance ensure adherence to Global Markets policies

This will be a hands on role, requiring a highly motivated self-starter with proven eFX /eFIC experience, stakeholder management skills and a commercial acumen that can meet the rapid delivery demands of the business. As such, we require a highly skilled and experienced candidate with;
- Excellent working knowledge in electronic markets with 7+ year's practical experience in a trading, sales, business or product development capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Electronic Trading, Execution management system and trading connectivity.
- NB: A proven track record of sales-driven environment is a must
- Ability to build client relationships and proven track record of collaboration across multiple teams
- A good understanding of e-trading and sales workflows as well as eFX platforms and competitive landscape
- Project management experience with a proven capability to lead initiatives, think laterally and drive commercial outcomes. Agile product owner skills would be highly desirable.
