Your new team
The Security Integration (SI) Operations and Analytics team, protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk. The SI team is passionate about analysing operational security data and identifying opportunities to leverage existing and create new technologies to mitigate risks that span across cyber, fraud and protective security domains.
Your impact and contribution
Your role will be to:
- Play a key role in developing, scoping and coordinating data led solutions to improve the Group security's identification, detection and response to security events as well as dashboards.
- Identifying opportunities for data integration and enrichment across security platforms to mitigate present and emerging risks, working closely Group security operations teams
- Assess and lead initiatives to create new technologies and platforms to drive improvements in the operational response to security threats
- Work with the Senior Manager to lead an operationally focused security integration and analysis team with an operational response focus
- Coordinate multi team engagements as needed to assist in response to threats, incidents or situations involving service continuity across Group Security
- Assist in the execution of strategic initiatives to improve Group Security team effectiveness and performance
Key responsibilities include:
- Use your strong understanding of security related technologies and experience in within cyber, fraud or protective security to identify opportunities to improve the operational effectiveness of Group Security teams and materially reduce security risk
- Work with the Senior Manager to oversee the scoping and implementation of new technologies to enrich Security data to support the Group's identification, detection and response to adverse security events
- Effectively manage relationships and communications with the key stakeholders including security, business and technology partners, colleagues and other external teams
- Drive initiatives that contribute to improving operational performance maturity and technology enabled outcomes; manage the platform maturity execution plans to achieve committed objectives.
- Track, manage and prepare reports on Security Integration activities, deliverables, timelines, impacts and implications to team members, stakeholders and SI Leadership.
- Contribute to developing a target operating model for an operational Security Integration Centre including visual display in our SI Operations Centre
- Encourage new ideas, embrace change, and continuously look for better/innovative/more creative ways of doing things.
