The hours and days for this Bakery Manager position are Tuesday to Saturday 0600-1530
At Countdown no two days are the same but in this role, you could expect to:
●Ensure a great level of service for our bakery customers
●Train and develop staff in your Department (including Bakers & Apprentices)
●Sales planning, rostering, merchandising and ordering of stock
●Champion Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors
In our next Bakery Manager we are looking for:
●Previous baking experience as well as ordering, stocktake and rostering systems
●Previous people leadership experience in a Bakery environment
●A strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
●The ability to train and motivate a team
●2-3 years retail experience including 1 year at a management / Supervisor level
