We’re looking for a Long Life Manager to join our Countdown Wainuiomata team

About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

  • Motivate, manage and lead our team

  • Train and develop team members and supervisors in your department

  • Sales planning, rostering, ordering of stock, maintaining merchandise standards and implement promotional planning

  • Champion safety practices

  • Ensure a proactive approach to all compliance requirements, keeping these records up to date and adhered to

  • Ensure the store is always at peak capacity for daily trading for our customers

In our next Long Life Manager we are looking for

  • Demonstrated knowledge and success in managing a retail environment

  • Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills

  • Previous experience with ordering, stocktake, rostering and budgets

  • Previous people leadership experience in a retail environment

  • The ability to obtain a first aid, general managers and food safety certificate as well as a forklift licence

The hours and days for this Long Life Manager position are :

Tuesday to Saturday 0900-1830
