We’re looking for an experienced leader with a passion for content/design operations, governance and traffic management to lead our in-house creative Studio. You’ll be responsible for leading a team of five designers and copywriters, managing and prioritising creative briefs, and planning and allocating capacity to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of UI design and digital copywriting across web, app, email and social. The Studio Manager is a senior leader in the CX Practice, reporting into a Content Chapter Lead.

You’ll be joining a fun and supportive team that celebrates unique perspectives, successes as well as failures (or “fail yays” as we like to call them), and learning and development. We also like to have a laugh, share food inspo, and connect together online and in person.

The title of this role has been changed for advertising purposes. The official role title is Content Manager - Studio

About the role | Mō te Tūranga

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading a creative team of designers and copywriters to produce quality digital experiences for our customers

  • Running team stand-ups, sprint planning, retros and quarterly planning sessions

  • Reviewing, prioritising and allocating briefs and work requests

  • Ensuring all work meets our brand standards, and content and design guidelines

  • Building a healthy team culture where everyone is enabled and empowered to do their best work

  • Working cross-functionally with a wide range of stakeholders to determine priorities and requirements, and respectively hold people accountable

  • Actively seek out ways to improve processes, systems, tools and ways of working

  • Contributing to the evolution of our Design System to drive improvements in consistency and productivity

  • Champion content and design best practice across the wider business
