We’re looking for Store Managers to join our Countdown team!
You will start on a two month induction course which will see you hosted at one of our stores around Auckland (which can be tailored to your preference). You will be provided with the training and knowledge of Countdown supermarkets and our ways of working. You will then land in your own Store Manager role upon the completion of your training. About You | Mōu
We are looking for our next Store Manager to have
- Previous retail management experience
- Demonstrated Ability to manage a retail operation with commercial success.
- The ability to build, maintain, and influence stakeholder relationships
- An ability to illustrate a team first, customer first approach to business
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, wellbeing legislation and best practice
- A strong people minded person with experience leading all aspects of a diverse team
With full responsibility for the store's performance you will need analytical skills that allow you to identify when change is needed.
As a new Store Manager you can expect to
