We’re looking for a Demand Planning Analyst to join our Grocery Wholesale team here in Aotearoa reporting to our Demand Planning Manager.
New Zealand Grocery Wholesalers (NZGW) is a new business unit of Woolworths NZ Ltd enabling wholesale (B2B) supply to small to medium retailers NZ wide and to the Pacific islands.
The person will be responsible for planning and administering forecast, demand and supply for NZGW customers (Domestic & International) to deliver great service and availability while working within inventory targets for NZGW and the wider Group Replenishment.
About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
This role will act as the conduit of information between the NZGW business, our NZGW customers and relevant business units within the wider Woolworths NZ business,
Key Accountabilities
- Delivering an accurate forecast plan to support optimised supply and inventory holding through data analysis, decision making, and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop processes and procedures in line with our Ways of Working to support changing business outcomes
- Onboarding and Setup of Replenishment support for new customers while supporting the needs of existing customers.
- Implement forecast plans within wider Replenishment frameworks, systems and processes and engage with stakeholders to coordinate execution for NZGW customers
- Planning and engaging with stakeholders for Seasonal and Special events
- Tracking and Monitoring of NZGW customer data and historical activity within Replenishment and Woolworths NZ systems.

To be successful in this position, you will:
- Demonstrate proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
- Have advanced analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail with confidence in decision-making.
- Be able to lead conversations with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external, to drive and influence outcomes.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills for internal and external audiences.
- Knowledge of JDA, SAP/APO, Forecast Pro or other software related to Demand Planning is preferred
- Intermediate skills in MS office (particularly excel) and google suite
- Maintain positive approach to work to consistently deliver high quality output
