Joining our high performing People team you’ll be one of 80 people practitioners across Woolworths NZ. Based at our Favona Support Office, you will be responsible for all aspects of People Partnering with both leaders and team alike. Invested in value creation we’re proud to collectively represent a team that continues to play a strategic role in our Team first approach to business, simplifying the way we work, and embedding best practices. About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
As a trusted Senior HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for enabling our leadership teams to deliver best in class team experiences, leverage group wide people initiatives, and drive sustainable change outcomes. You will be partnering effectively with leaders across our Transformation and Ecosystems portfolio and People Partners to drive strategic people priorities and to foster continuous improvement initiatives throughout teams.
Key responsibilities include:

Delivering key initiatives that are aligned to the national people strategy for the business unit.

Provide effective HR operational support across this portfolio, such as talent and succession management, performance management, improving team experience, building capability and supporting key annual processes, such performance and reward.

Build leadership capability through coaching, advising and facilitating relevant leadership development content as required.

Develop credibility with leaders to allow for effective stakeholder engagement.

About You | Mōu
Joining our team you’ll bring relevant industry experience ideally within complex, fast paced, Support Office/Corporate environments, and be experienced in working and delivering across multiple teams.
As an experienced partner and people practitioner, you will have HR legislation knowledge and demonstrated your ability to build strong relationships and a can do attitude. Exposure working in an agile environment would be advantageous.
This can be challenging yet rewarding work, so we need someone that is resilient and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to ensure we are able to always put our people first.
