We’re looking for a Fresh Foods Assistant - Service Deli to join our Countdown Rangitikei St team

You’ll understand what our customers want at our service deli counters and make sure they’re receiving an experience that will really wow them. From helpful advice, to chatting about their day – by being yourself and offering a personalised service wherever possible, you’ll ensure every customer walks away feeling good and looking forward to their next visit.
About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

Keeping our service deli department well stocked and presented at all times

Providing excellent customer service

Mixing salads, cooking and displaying a variety of deli foods

Learning about and adhering to food safety policies
You will be joining a hands on and customer focused department and we are looking for a team member to

Are okay handling fresh food, including processed and cooked meat

Have strong attention to detail & skills for when it comes to food safety checks

Be happy to work on their feet for most of their shift

Have a great eye for presentation and love interacting with our customers
The shifts times and days for this opportunity are:
Shift 1: Monday, Tuesday and Sunday 1600-2000
Shift 2: Monday 1400-2000, Thursday and Sunday 1600-2000
