The hours and days for this Butchery Manager position are

Sunday to Thursday 0600-1530

In this hands on role, a day in the life could look like:

●Cutting, trimming and packaging meat products as well as using different machinery

●Interacting with customers helping them choose the best cuts of meat for their needs

●Maintaining great presentation for the Butchery department

●Sharing your knowledge by training and developing team members including apprentices

●Championing Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors

In this role we are looking for our new Butchery Manager to have:

●Previous experience in people leadership in the Meat Industry

●Previous experience with rostering, stock management and ordering

●A willingness for early starts and to work on your feet for most of your shift

●Strong communication skills and effectively interact with customers and team members

●Regular lifting up to 15kgs, bending, reaching and repetitive movements
