At Woolworths NZ, the RPA team works across a number of business teams to implement automation solutions with an aim of increasing the accuracy, reliability, scalability and efficiency of business processes. The team is responsible for all steps in the process from reviewing and suggesting changes, to designing & building the automation, to deploying it to a virtual worker within the teams.

About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

This is a key role in the identification and delivery of automation based improvement. Working across all areas of the business, you will deliver improvement related outcomes across the function.

The role is also responsible for all activities related to explicitly managing the business (NZ) tenant(s) including the release of automation in the New Zealand business, optimising the automation workloads across the assets, and finally ensuring appropriate licensing for all software used.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop automation solutions to meet business requirements ensuring appropriate reporting, error handling and risk controls are in place.

  • Create supporting documentation for automated processes.

  • Provide a consistent and sustainable customer-focused technical support service for RPA solutions.

  • Build and share expertise with others, including coaching of non-technical roles.

  • Review of any changes being brought across the UiPath Platform for quality and identifying the risk and impact, and any possible mitigations.

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of tenants for the various Business Units.

About You | Mōu

To achieve this, you will have a passion for improvement, RPA and emerging technologies and will be driven to achieve successful outcomes for the business through partnership.

You’ll bring in your commercial development experience and experience

  • In continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (DevOps or DevSecOps) and release management and tools - such as Azure Dev Ops(ADO) or any other DevOps Tools.

  • In RPA development and technical support roles.

  • With RPA solutions, preferably UiPath.

  • With one or more of C#/C++, .Net, VB scripting, Python programming, REGEX, JSON and cloud service API’s (REST/SOAP).

  • Working with an Agile team i.e. SCRUM, KANBAN.

  • Excellent system technical design skills.

  • To be able to function in a dynamic, changing environment.

  • To be able to manage multiple task and projects in parallel.
