About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
As an Assistant Accountant in Property & Construction, you will support the activities by providing accounting analysis, collation, and reporting of all financial data within their respective area.
You will also be responsible for:

Helping with process and reconcile current accounts and internal charges accurately

Assisting with analysis, feedback and explanation of reports

Responding to queries regarding weekly & monthly operating results or any financial anomaly

Ensuring processes are documented and procedure manuals are updated

Assisting in the production of internal reports by preparing and supplying necessary information around internal charging, current account processing & provision review

Reviewing systems and makes recommendations for system or process improvements

Assists in the implementation of accounting practices

Coaches/mentors team members to develop a high performance culture
About You | Mōu
You will preferably have an accounting degree and a minimum of 2 years work experience. To succeed in this role you will need great communication, problem solving and time management skills and be comfortable with working on budgeting and forecasting. Previous experience using SAP would be highly beneficial.
