We’re seeking a Senior Test Lead to join our technology squad on a 12-month fixed-term contract - someone who can quickly step in, bring direction, and elevate how testing is delivered across the team.

About the Role
Reporting to the Squad Lead, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end testing strategy and delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes across critical systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365.
You’ll play a pivotal role as a trusted advisor within the squad, combining technical expertise with leadership and coaching. A key part of your remit will be to uplift team capability - particularly supporting a technically strong team member who is building their leadership experience - while partnering across teams to influence best practice and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and mentoring to testers and squad members
- Build team capability in test strategy, automation, and quality practices
- Foster a continuous learning culture through knowledge sharing and training
- Act as a go-to expert and escalation point for testing practices and decisions
- Define and lead end-to-end test strategies across functional and non-functional domains
- Oversee the design and execution of test plans, scripts, and automation frameworks
- Drive risk identification, mitigation, and quality improvements
- Ensure robust test coverage across complex, multi-platform environments
- Work closely with external vendors, holding them accountable for deliverables and quality standards
- Partner with Product Owners, Developers, and business stakeholders to align on priorities
- Provide clear reporting, insights, and recommendations to support decision-making
- Ensure test environment readiness and execution discipline
- Champion best practices across automation, performance testing, and CI/CD integration
- Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability
About You:
- Proven experience in a Senior Test Lead / Senior Test Analyst role, ideally in complex enterprise environments
- Strong track record of leading testing efforts and mentoring team members
- Experience working with and managing third-party vendors
- Deep understanding of Agile and DevOps delivery models
- Hands-on experience with: Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE & F&O (essential), Test tools such as Postman, JMeter, ReadyAPI, BrowserStack, Automation frameworks and performance testing
- Familiarity with: Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes (desirable), Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Zephyr
- Qualifications - Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, ISTQB Advanced Certification (essential)
